In reply to Tricia. It is. Its a lot of sugar, I know. However, it's for piping tall swirls on 24 cupcakes. You can always half the recipe if you don't want as much frosting.

In reply to Angie. Were you possibly using melted butter? Or was the butter too soft? I’m a baker and I used to notice when I over creamed my butter it would turn into a cake batter consistency
