Slow Cooker Baked Beans

These Slow Cooker Baked Beans are so easy to make and they might be some of the best doctored baked beans that we've ever made.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 (28 ounces each) cans Bush's Best Vegetarian Baked Beans
  • 1 (28 ounces) can Bush's Best Original Baked Beans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder

Instructions

  1. Chop bacon into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet* until crispy
  3. Drain grease and set bacon aside.
  4. Pour baked beans into the bowl of a large slow cooker.**
  5. Add brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and onion powder.
  6. Stir well.
  7. Add in cooked bacon.
  8. Stir and cover.
  9. Cook on low for 4 hours.

Notes

*my slow cooker has a skillet setting so I just cook the bacon in that.

**I use a 6 quart slow cooker
