In reply to Trisha. Hi Trisha! They might be the worst biscuits YOU have ever made however, although I feel like if you really had 71 years of biscuit making experience that you would have been able to follow this recipe correctly and make wonderful 7up Biscuits. I don't know what went wrong in your kitchen and I am sorry they didn't turn out well for you but when I make them they are not gummy at all.

Don’t do it! These are the worst biscuits I have EVER had and I have made plenty in my 71 years. They fall apart while trying to eat them and they are gummy! The bottom is oozing butter and did not get crispy. What a waste of a good 7 up and sour cream.
