Which Brands Did I Use For Ranch Cheese Dip?
Sometimes when it comes to Semihomemade recipe that use packaged foods to create meals, the brands of items can make or break a dish. I don’t think this ALWAYS happens but I do know that not all packaged items are created equally.
cream cheese – I like Philadelphia cream cheese when it is on sale, but store brand is fine.
shredded cheddar cheese – normally I’ve been a fan of the Kraft Philadelphia Creamy Melt Cheese for recipes that require melted cheese but since we’re not cooking this recipe, I think that you’re favorite shredded cheese would be fine.
ranch dressing seasoning – Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning – The DRY seasoning mix!

This recipe couldn’t be easier. A few simple ingredients and a mix makes a great party dip!

Pop the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning mix into a large bowl.

- 16 ounces cream cheese, soft
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ounce packet ranch dressing seasoning
- parsley for garnish - if desired
Instructions
- With an electric or stand mixer, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese and ranch seasoning in a bowl and mix together until smooth
- Spoon into a serving dish and serve with chips and pretzels.
