Have you ever had an Orange Julius? You’ve got to try this easy homemade Copycat Orange Julius recipe!
“This post and recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.”

RECIPE IS BELOW IN PRINTABLE RECIPE CARD BUT BLOG POST IS FULL OF “HOW TO MAKE IT”, TIPS, INFORMATION AND FAQ
When I was younger, the only time we got to have an Orange Julius was when we went out of town. Even then, we would have to be one of the bigger cites and run across one of the Orange Julius places in the mall.
These days, we have a Dairy Queen in town that also makes Orange Julius so when I decided to make this Copycat Orange Julius recipe, I grabbed a few from there to try. I remembered the taste from childhood but it has been a while, so I knew I needed one for taste testing and research 😉
Turns out that the Copycat Orange Julius that I make at home is even better than the one from the shop.
A lot of the Copycat Orange Julius recipes that you find online have water and ice in them. However, I tend to like my Orange Julius drinks a bit on the thicker side instead of the watered down version. Therefore, I love to use ice cream in my version of this recipe.

I find that the original Orange Julius drinks are pretty sour anyways because of the Orange Juice concentrate, so I wanted to make this one like those. However, you can always add more sugar if you need to.
