Perfect for breakfast for dessert, these little apple dumplings are so easy to make and super tasty! I can’t wait to try them with other pie fillings as well! I’m thinking blueberry or cherry would be great!
What you’ll need for Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings:
- refrigerated crescent rolls
- apple pie filling, chopped
- cinnamon sugar
How to make Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings:

Preheat the oven to 350F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
Carefully, tear apart the crescent rolls in triangles.
Lay triangle pieces of dough on a flat work surface.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon apple pie filling on the widest end of the triangle.
Roll the apple filling up with the dough into a crescent roll.
Apples in canned apple pie filling are pretty chunky. Chop them up to make them fit easier.

I made these tonight. My spouse says to me all of the time…My mom used to make apple dumplings…He lost her when she was only 7. SO tonight, I am like, I wonder how close I can get to his mom’s dumplings. He enjoyed these very much.
