We love using this TikTok hack involving heavy cream to make some of the best cinnamon rolls! These Rainbow Cinnamon Rolls are perfect for an easy breakfast or fun to dress up for St. Patrick’s Day! These cinnamon rolls take 30 minutes to make and taste like Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls.
I love any recipe that I can easily make with my son. Of course he is getting to the age where he can almost help me with most recipes, but ones where he can really take control of the recipe with a little help from me are the ones I love for fun time in the kitchen together.
We absolutely love my homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch, but these are perfect easy mornings and great for kids in the kitchen.
You’ll find that we are using canned cinnamon rolls for this recipe but adding a little extra with the heavy cream and sprinkles.
The heavy cream makes them so amazingly soft like Cinnabon cinnamon rolls and well the sprinkles are just extra fun.

What Kind Of Cinnamon Rolls Are Best For These Cinnamon Rolls?
I made these Rainbow St. Patrick’s Day Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls with the Pillsbury Grands! Cinnabon Cinnamon and Original Icing Cinnamon Rolls. I think that the Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls are so good. – I haven’t tried them with another brand
I mean I know that these are already canned “Cinnabon” cinnamon rolls but baking them with the heavy cream really makes them taste like the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls from the mall!
I personally love the centers of Cinnabon cinnamon rolls because they’re so soft and gooey!
What Sprinkles Did You Use For These Rainbow Cinnamon Rolls?
I used some Rainbow sprinkles that I had from Fancy Sprinkles. However, any sprinkles will work. I find that the color from Non-Pareils (the little dot sprinkles) will run when they hit the hit icing.
How To Store Cinnamon Rolls?
Whenever I’ve bought cinnamon rolls at the mall, they always tell me to keep them on the counter at room temperature and not put them in the fridge.
If I know we’re going to eat them that day or the next day, I store mine in an airtight container on the counter, longer than that that I store them in the fridge.
