Time to get back into the swing of things because school is back in session! These Notebook Paper Rice Krispie Treats are super cute for teachers and students alike!

A lot of schools are already back in session but out little guy doesn’t start kindergarten for a few more weeks and I’m soaking in all of the summer that I have left with him!
At the same time though, we’re getting ready for school at the same time. We’ve gotten his new little bookbag and pickup all of the back to school supplies that his teachers have requested.
I’m also going through tons of lunchbox and treat ideas because I have to send him with lunch every day this year! (Last two years he was in pre-k and didn’t need to have a lunch packed).
So I thought these cute and easy Notebook Paper Rice Krispie Treats would be perfect for his lunch box and for a special treat for his teachers.

Which Brands Did I Use For These Notebook Paper Rice Krispie Treats?
Sometimes when it comes to Semihomemade recipe that use packaged foods to create meals, the brands of items can make or break a dish. I don’t think this ALWAYS happens but I do know that not all packaged items are created equally.
Prepackaged Rice Krispie Treats I like to use the name brand rice krispie treats for these little notepaper rice krispie treats but you can use Homemade Rice Krispie Treats too!
Vanilla candy coating – I use either the Great Value Almond Bark (don’t worry there are no nuts in it!) or the Food Lion Candy Coating.
Blue Edible Marker – I have a pack by Edibleink that I’ve been using lately.
Red Edible Marker – I have a pack by Edibleink that I’ve been using lately. You can also find edible markers like these at Walmart, Hobby Lobby and Michaels.

How To Make Notebook Paper Rice Krispie Treats
-
Melt White/Vanilla Candy Coating according to package directions.
-
Dip rice krispie treats into candy coating and coat all sides.
-
Place on a piece of parchment paper to harden.
-
Once candy coating is hard, use a blue edible marker to draw lines on rice krispie treat to look like a piece of notebook paper.
-
Then, use a red edible market to draw an A+ on the top of the paper. Or write anything you want on your treats.
I just chose to draw a red A+ on the pages but you could really write anything you wanted like :
“Have a Great Day”
“I Love You”
“Happy 1st Day of School”
“Smile Big Today!”
etc…
