Which Brands Did I Use For This Buffalo Chicken Pasta?
Sometimes when it comes to Semihomemade recipe that use packaged foods to create meals, the brands of items can make or break a dish. I don’t think this ALWAYS happens but I do know that not all packaged items are created equally.
Penne pasta- Any brand will work
Alfredo sauce– We use Bertolli Alfredo Sauce with Aged Parmesan Cheese. This is my favorite jar alfredo but you can always make homemade!
Buffalo sauce – I really love to make my own buffalo sauce but I also like the Moore Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Mozzarella cheese– I used Kraft Creamy Melt Mozzarella
Cooked diced chicken – You can use any leftover chicken, but to make these super easy, I like to use the Perdue Grilled Chicken Strips or the Tyson Cooked Grilled Chicken Breast Strips. 4 cups cooked diced chicken is about 12 chicken tenders cooked and chopped. I like to use chicken tenderloins for this recipe because they cook up quickly while the pasta cooks.

How To Make Buffalo Chicken Pasta:
-
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for about 12 minutes or until tender.
-
In a large skillet or large sauce pan, combine the alfredo sauce and buffalo sauce.
I like to use a skillet large enough to add the pasta too after it cooks. -
Add in cooked chicken and mozzarella cheese and stir well.
-
When pasta is done cooking, add drained pasta to sauce and stir well!
