Which Brands Did I Use For These Notebook Paper Rice Krispie Treats?
Sometimes when it comes to Semihomemade recipe that use packaged foods to create meals, the brands of items can make or break a dish. I don’t think this ALWAYS happens but I do know that not all packaged items are created equally.
Pudding – Jell-O brand but I also like to make these with vanilla pudding or white chocolate pudding instead and coloring it with a few drops of green food coloring while mixing! Make sure you are buying the INSTANT pudding mix and not the cook pudding mix.
Milk – store brand works – whole milk works the best. You may have trouble getting it to set up with some milk alternative options.
Whipped topping for topping – any brand is fine
green long sprinkles for topping– any brand is fine
black sanding sugar or black sprinkles for topping– any brand is fine
