How to make these easy Blood Splatter Cakesicles:
- Bake cake
Bake the cake according to the recipe below.
- To make Cakesicles
Crumble cake into crumbs and mix cream cheese into cake crumbs until a dough forms.
Using about a 1 tablespoon of the cakesicle dough for each mold, press dough into the cakesicle mold. -
Insert wooden popsicle sticks and press them into the center of the dough.
Pop mold into the freezer for 10 minutes -
Melt almond bark according to package directions.
Dip each red velvet cakesicle into the white almond bark.
Lay on a flat surface and let each cakesicle harden. -
Melt red candy melts according to package directions.
Use a fork or clean hands to flick melted red chocolate over the cakesicles to imitate blood splatter. -

Blood Splatter Cakesicles

Ingredients
- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 48 ounces white chocolate almond bark
- 6 ounces Red candy melts
- 24 popsicle sticks
- Cakesicle Mold
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Combine cake mix, 1 cup water, 3 eggs and vegetable oil in a large bowl.
Whisk together until smooth.
Fill a 9x13 cake pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until done.
