Which Brands Did I Use For This Tropical Snack Mix?
Sometimes when it comes to Semihomemade recipe that use packaged foods to create meals, the brands of items can make or break a dish. I don’t think this ALWAYS happens but I do know that not all packaged items are created equally.
Cashews, Mango Slices, yogurt raisins and banana chips– I used the unbranded/Kroger brand for these.
Coconut – I just used the Kroger brand
Pineapple Slices– I couldn’t find any plain dried pineapples but I did find some chocolate dipped dried pineapple slices at Marshalls! They’re Elephant Park, Premium All Natural Real Rich Dark Chocolate Dipped Tropical Pineapple Dried Fruit Slices <— I found them on Amazon too but they were cheaper at Marshalls.
How To Make Tropical Snack Mix:
-
Just toss all the ingredients together in a large bowl and give it a gentle mix. That’s it!
-
Store it in an airtight container, or portion it into small bags or jars for gifting.
