We had Doritos Walking Tacos for lunch again today and I thought that it might be time to share these with y’all!
Most people have heard of walking tacos, but if you haven’t heard about them before let me tell you about them really quick.
Walking Tacos are a portable and easy way to fix a taco or taco salad all inside of a bag of chips. They’re perfect for parties, great for an fun dinner or great for an easy lunch. While I think a lot of people use Fritos or tortilla chips, we like to use Doritos!

How to make Doritos Walking Tacos:

Cook beef according to recipe below.
Pick your chips -
Open bag of Doritos and fold own edges of bag.

Slightly crush bag of chips with hand.

Add beef on top of chips.

Mexican rice, beans, lettuce and diced tomatoes -

DORITOS WALKING TACOS
Doritos Walking Tacos - Easy and Mess Free! Fill these Doritos bags with all of your favorite taco toppings and dig in!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground burger
- 1.25 ounce pack taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup water
- Taco Toppings*
- 8 small individual bags Nacho Cheese Doritos or Ranch Doritos
Instructions
- Brown beef in a large skillet.
- Once cooked, drain grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water to beef.
- Stir and bring to a boil.
- Remove to simmer and cook 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
To make walking tacos:
Slightly crush bag of chips with hand.
Open bag of Doritos and fold own edges of bag.
Add beef on top of chips.
Add more toppings like:
Cheese
Diced Tomatoes
Black Beans
Lettuce
Sour Cream
Serve with a fork or spoon and enjoy!
